This card enables you to receive both the programme listings for the free-to-view channels and the programmes themselves. It does not affect the free-to-air channels, such as the BBC. If ITV does not currently show on your programme guide, this card will bring up ITV's listings.

If you want to order this card with a digibox, please choose the card as an optional extra when you order the digibox. This will avoid you paying postage and packing on both items.

Common questions:

Will this card work in the Republic of Ireland?

Yes - it will work anywhere in Europe where there is sufficient signal strength. We have sent out cards to Ireland, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Croatia - there aren't many countries that cannot pick up Channel 4 & Five, given the right dish setup.

Can I have this card working alongside my Irish subscription card?

You will have to remove the subscription card and replace it with this card, and wait for the new listings to appear. We do not recommend using this card if you have a telephone line connection, unless you disconnect while using the card.

What regions are shown on BBC1 and ITV1 (Channels 101 and 103)?

The card changes the default region shown at BBC1 and ITV1. Our cards usually have either East Midlands / Central or North West / Granada as the default regions. In Southerly countries such as Spain, Portugal, Greece or Cyprus, the East Midlands regional variation of BBC and ITV comes through more consistently and is a lot less prone to break up.

Can I change the default region shown at Channels 101 and 103?

No - but you can add any of the BBC regional variations to your favourites, and recall them at the touch of a button. ITV variations are not so straightforward. These have to be programmed in using the 'other channels' function. Details on how to do this can be found on our FAQ page.

I have a satellite receiver with a card slot. Can I use this card in it?

Only if the receiver is a Sky digibox. If in doubt, email us with the make & model number of your receiver.

Will the card have to be matched to the digibox for the Channels to work?

This used to be the case several years ago, but it no longer applies to Freesat or non-premium subscription cards. Once activated, this type of card will work in any Sky digibox.
Freesat (free-to-view / FTV ) card £47.00

This card is pre-activated, requires no authorisation and will work in any Sky digibox, in any country, to give access to the free-to-view channels - Channel 4, Channel 5, Sky Three, Five Life and Five US. Simply insert the card into the 'Sky viewing card' slot on the digibox and all the free-to-view channels will come through.

Please note - BBC & ITV channels are now free-to-air, and can be received on a Sky digibox without a card.
